Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is not meeting Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah during his Karachi visit, Waqt News reported. PM is on a one-day visit to Karachi today.

According to media reports CM Sindh will be called upon by PM, but will be asked to meet the interior minister. “He has asked CM to meet Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar,” media sources revealed. “A meeting will be arranged in Islamabad between them,” reports added. “The Interior Minister holds the authority regarding Rangers’ authorities and will decide accordingly,” sources stated.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister has been briefed regarding the energy projects at Port Qasim. “PM has been told about the importance of the project and how it will be completed on time,” media reports stated.

While talking to PM, the Chinese company contractors and project have told him that security situation in Pakistan is much better now. “We are working on the project around the clock and all projects will be completed till 2017,” PM was told.
