ISLAMABAD -  All Pakistan Muslim League Secretary General Dr Muhammad Amjad on Wednesday said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instead of accusing General (retired) Pervez Musharraf of killing of his mother, should look for answers to some basic questions and he would find the murderer in his own home, his father Asif Ali Zardari.

The APML secretary general said this in a statement issued here in response to Bilawal's raising slogans in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh alleging Musharraf is the murderer of Benazir Bhutto.

Zardari was the ultimate beneficiary of Benazir Bhutto's murder and he during five-year tenure in the government destroyed all clues and evidences pointing toward the real murderer of Benazir Bhutto and later alleged that Baitullah Mehsud was involved in this gruesome act, he said.

Even Pakistan People's Party, former minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the plan to murder Ms Bhutto was allegedly prepared in a seminary at Akora Khattak, the APML leader said.

Dr Amjad said that Bilawal was a victim of his father's shrewdness and he was forced to reinforce the version of his father.

The ultimate beneficiary who took maximum benefit of this murder was Zardari with the help of a forged 'will', he claimed.

First Zardari grabbed the party, and later bank balance, property and insurance amount using the same “will” and also became president of Pakistan, the APML leader said.

There are several missing links and unanswered questions like why the statements of eye-witnesses, Naheed Khan and Safdar Abbasi were not recorded, why and who murdered Khalid Shehnsha, who hide Benazir Bhutto's BlackBerry phone in Bilawal House, who altered the body of a bombproof vehicle by fixing a sunroof in it, and who asked Ms Bhutto to come out of that sunroof, Dr Amjad said.

Further, who altered the route of Benazir Bhutto, while returning from the public meeting at Liaquat Bagh, why Benazir Bhutto's security in-charge Rehman Malik returned from Liaquat Bagh and who forbade doctors from performing autopsy, the APML leader said.

Dr Amjad said that there were also questions that why Zardari declared Baitullah Mahsud a murderer and why Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the plan was prepared in the seminary of Maulana Samiul Haq.

During five years in power, why the PPP government failed to nab the murderers of Ms Bhutto, Dr Amjad asked.

He alleged that if transparent investigations were conducted, no one but Zardari would be found to be the murderer.

He took maximum benefit from this murder and now his son is accusing General Musharraf of the murder, the APML leader said.

Bilawal instead of doing politics in the name of his mother's blood should try to ask these questions from his father.
