Peshawar - An archbishop from the UK visited All Saints Church in the provincial capital amid tight security on Sunday.
The Archbishop of Canterbury Church Justin Welby along with a delegation is on a three-day visit to Pakistan.
It merits a mention here that the All Saints Church located inside Kohati Gate in the old walled city had been attacked by suicide bombers in the year 2013 wherein around 127 people had been killed and many others wounded.
The archbishop Justin Welby was also accompanied by PM Imran Khan’s Special Assistant Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, while SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed and SP City Attique Shah also visited the venue to inspect security arrangements on the occasion.
Peshawar police made strict security arrangements during the visit of the foreign delegation to the church. The archbishop attended Sunday mass at the church and also addressed congregation there.
