Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar, on Wednesday, issued high alert warnings pertaining to the flood threats in Nullah Leh of Rawalpindi.

According to the details, the CM has asked Rescue 1122 to put in place all the arrangements to deal with any emergency like situation.

CM directed relevant authorities to submit reports on drainage of water in low lying areas.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad has said that spillways of Rawal Dam are open.

For public awareness announcements, via mosques, are being made to inform people about staying away from banks of the rivers Soan and Korang.
