According to press reports, Indian PM Manmohan Singh wants peace with Pakistan and he would meet Islamabad more than halfway if it cracks down on militants and the leaders of Pakistan have the courage, determination and the statesmanship to take the road of peace. Indian PM should know that Pakistan Army's operation Rah-i-Rast has been launched to root out the extremists, militants and terrorists. This operation has also exposed the involvement of the foreign hands; India should join hands with Pakistan to fight common enemies without any precondition. If it is sincere in having friendship with Pakistan, India should remove its forces from our eastern border at this time when Pakistan Army is engaged in a war against militants on our western borders. -ENGR S.T.
