PM house refutes Imran’s allegation on its daily expenses

ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister (PM) house has refuted the charges leveled by PTI chief Imran Khan about its daily expenses saying PM house daily expenses runs into Rs 1 million rather than 4 million.
As per PM house spokesman, annual budget of PM house stood at Rs 457 million for the fiscal year 2012-13 while the incumbent government has curtailed the budget to the tune of Rs 367 million for the current fiscal year.
Spokesman further said that PM house annual budget includes salaries of staff members, security expenses and expenses in respect of domestic and foreign guests.
The statement given by Imran Khan that PM house daily expenses is Rs 4 million is a sheer allegation which has no substance. His statement is concocted and unfounded. PM House daily expenses stand at Rs 1 million and not Rs 4 million, spokesman held. Imran Khan had alleged during his public meeting in Bahawalpur that PM House daily expenses are Rs 4 million.
