Karachi violence claims 3 more lives

KARACHI - Three more people were killed in different incidents of target killing in provincial metropolis on Sunday. As per details, a man was killed and two bystanders injured in a firing incident at Gujjar Nullah in the precincts of Nazimabad Police Station on Sunday. Police said Imran Ullah 30, was standing outside his house when unidentified gunmen on a motorbike and opened fire on him. Resultantly, Imran and two bystanders sustained bullet injuries and were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Imran succumbed to his injures. Police have handed over the body to family after autopsy while affiliation of deceased with any political and religious party is yet unclear. In another incident, a man was killed near Jungle School in the limits of Mochko Police Station. Police said victim Jhangir Khan, 18, son of Bacha Khan and a resident of Hazara Colony Baldia, was standing near his residence when unidentified men arrived there and shot him dead. Gunmen managed to flee from the scene. Police handed over the body to the family after autopsy at Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK). No case was registered till filing of this report while police said personal enmity could be the reason behind the incident. Separately, an elderly man was gunned down here in the limits of Sachal Police Station on Sunday. Police said Gulzaeen, 55, was standing outside his home located in the slum area of Pather Goth where gunmen targeted him and managed to flee. Gulzaeen died on the way to hospital. Police said personal enmity was the cause behind the murder. The body was handed over to family after autopsy.
