Two crushed to death

LAHORE Two young people succumbed to injuries during road accidents here in the provincial capital here on Sunday. As per detail, an unidentified car crushed a 30-year-old youth resultantly he suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last while the driver escaped from the crime scene. Later, the police handed over the body to the victim family after completing medico-legal procedure. Meanwhile a youth was crushed by a trolley in Sherakot police precincts. According to the eyewitnesses the deceased was sitting on a trolley. He fell down when the trolley collided with a cart resultantly he was crushed under the wheels of the trolley, police concerned said. The tractor driver, however, fled the scene. An Edhi ambulance shifted the injured to the Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The dead body was sent to the City morgue for autopsy. The deceased was yet to identify. Further investigations are underway. BODY FOUND: A dead body of a 45-year-old unidentified man was found from an empty plot of the G-3 area of the WAPDA Town in Satukatla police limits on Sunday. As per detail, police got information about the dead body. The police concerned told that there was no sign of wounds on his body. Apparently it seems he died his natural death. However the situation is quite complicated as the dead body has been found from an empty plot, an on duty police officer said. He, however, said something final would be established after seeking any tangible evidence. The body was sent for autopsy to the City Dead House of the Mayo Hospital. Man poisoned to death: Some swindlers poisoned to death a 50-year-old man in Lower Mall area on Sunday. Police claimed the deceased was a drug addict and the main reason of his death was excessive usage of drugs. As per details, some locals phoned and informed the local police about an unconscious man lying near Data Darbar. He was shifted to a hospital where he breathed his last. Insiders said he was poisoned to death while police concerned claimed the deceased was a drug addict. The body was removed to the morgue for his post mortem.
