Perspectives for int’l programmes growth in Roots discussed

Islamabad (PR) - Khadija Mushtaq, CEO Roots College International & Roots Ivy International Schools, invited Simon Askey, acting director of undergraduate laws programme, University of London International Programmes (ULIP), along with Saad Wasim, country head University of London International Programmes, to visit Roots College International/ Ivy International University Flagship campus Rawalpindi/Islamabad as part of the ‘Diploma Review Visit.’
The main purpose of this visit was to interact with students, discuss their academic progress and provide them with guidance towards the successful completion of their courses. Students were very thrilled to meet Simon and were fortunate enough to discuss their upcoming examination preparations with him since he is one of the board of examiners, says a press release issued here on Friday.
Khadija Mushtaq in her meeting with Simon Askey discussed the current challenges and perspectives for sustainable growth of UOL programmes in Pakistan. She also shared her vision on providing quality education to the youth of Pakistan so that they can play an effective and dynamic role as true cosmopolitan citizens and aspiring future leaders for the progress and prosperity of the country.
Roots College International/ Ivy International University Flagship campus Rawalpindi/Islamabad has been diligently providing University of London qualifications in the twin cities since 2003. Roots Ivy International University is the only teaching institution that pioneered the UOL international programmes in the complete region in Pakistan. It was awarded the ‘Affiliate Centre’ in 2009 in recognition of its academic excellence. It’s the only affiliate centre providing UOL international programmes for BSc, LLB, diploma in law, diploma in economics and diploma in social sciences simultaneously.
