ISLAMABAD: The co-accused in supplementary assets reference against former finance minister Ishaq Dar could not be indicted Wednesday and hearing of the case has been adjourned till March, 30.
As many as 3 persons including former president National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Saeed Ahmad were nominated as co-accused in the supplementary reference filed by NAB on February 26, 2017, against former finance minister Ishaq Dar for possessing assets beyond his known source of income.
Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court (AC) took up for hearing assets reference against Ishaq Dar on Wednesday.
The accused Mansoor Raza and Naeem Mehmood appeared in the court during the hearing of the case. Former president NBP Saeed Ahmad could not appear in the court. His plea for exemption from appearance in the court for two days was accepted.
The court while adjourning the hearing of supplementary reference against Ishaq Dar till March 30 directed the accused persons to file surety bonds in the sum of Rs 1000000 each.
