Kh Junaid Hockey Academy mark Int’l Day for ‘Stop Violence Against Women’

LAHORE - A hockey match was played between SBP Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy U-12 Boys and Rawha Hockey Academy Girls Team. Chairman KJHA Khawaja Junaid expressed his views to stop the violence against women. He took oath from the academy boys not to do violence against women in their whole life. Kh Junaid read the message of Mr. Bernhard Schlagheck, Ambassador German Embassy Islamabad, on the occasion, which read: “One in three women experience gender-based violence in their lifetimes. On the international Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we want to draw attention to this widespread problem. This is why the German embassy is honoured to be part of today’s event of the SBP Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy, where this issue is being highlighted through the avenue of sports.” Chairperson ‘United We Rise’ Mrs. Farzana Aqib said: “It’s time to stop violence against women at every level. All lady players will be supported through her organization.”
