LAHORE – DHA Rugby Club stunned Islamabad Jinns Rugby Club 3-0 in a friendly match here at Lahore DHA rugby ground. Both the teams played well to score a try in the first half but they failed to do so and the score after the first half was 0-0. In the second half, DHA player put some pressure on favourites Islamabad Jinns which paid off as DHA senior player Haji Anwar scored three points by a conversion in the last moments of the match to help his team score 3-0 win over Islamabad. Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) is going to organise rugby super league next month so both the clubs took keen interest in playing 15-side game. PRU development officers Qambar Ali Haroon, Mozzam Ali and other officials along with a lot of spectators and families were present there to witness the match.
