Addressing a ceremony at Data Darbar in Lahore on Sunday the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar has said that he can feel that the country is moving towards peace and prosperity for the time in 70 years.
"A lot of people sacrificed their lives to achieve this piece of land and it is our responsibility to work harder for its development", he said.
"We have to love this country", CJP further added.
Talking about the construction of dams Saqib Nisar said, construction of dams is our lifeline and we have to build dams on an immediate basis.
the nation is actively donating to the dam funds, Justice Nisar told.
“I hope to Allah that the country moves to progress,” he said. “For the first time it feels like the country is moving towards progress and we will soon reach the destination of prosperity,” Justice Nisar added.
During his visit to Data Darbar the chief justice was given cheques by several devotees for the dam fund.
