Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is symbol of cordial ties between the two countries.  

Talking to media in Multan, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold important talks with top Chinese leadership during his visit to China from 2nd of next month, which will yield positive results for the country.

Replying to a question, Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged Afghanistan to avoid blame game in the wake of Kandahar attack, which took place due to their own security lapse.

He said the Afghan authorities should investigate how the attackers managed to reach the sensitive place.

The foreign minister said Pakistan always wants good ties with all its neighbours, including Afghanistan.
