MANDI BAHAUDDIN/GUJRANWALA - A wicked person molested five-year old girl playing outside her house and fled the scene here on Friday. The police nabbed the accused during a raid.
According to police, five-year old daughter of a labourer namely Zulfiqar was playing outside her house located in village Jagokhurd, tehsil Phalia when 32-year old accused Kashif alias Kalu raped her and fled away. The victim girl informed her parents about the incident who lodged an FIR with the police. The police started raids and arrested the culprit who confessed to his crime.
Meanwhile, in Gujranwala the autopsy report confirmed that two sisters found dead, had been raped. The bodies of both the girls were found from a canal near Maddan Chak on Thursday.
According to the DMS, bullets hit the head caused their death. While Medico-Legal Officer Dr Uzma said that signs of rape were noticed during post-mortem and samples had been sent to forensic lab for further investigation.
It is suspected that unidentified accused raped both the girls and later threw their dead bodies near canal after killing them.
Orphan girl raped in Gojra
INP adds: A wicked youth raped a 10-year-old orphan girl and fled the scene but was arrested by police during a raid here on Friday.
According to details, Adeeba Khalid, hailing from Chak No 244-GB of Gojra, used to visit house of the accused to learn Quran.
The accused, Sagheer who was alone at home on the day of crime, took the innocent girl to a room and raped her.
Hearing cries and screams of the girl, neighbours gathered at the scene after which the accused fled. The victim girl was shifted to General Hospital Gojra where doctors confirmed the rape.
Later the accused was arrested from a house of a friend.
It should be mentioned that father of the victim was electrocuted one year ago and she is residing with her grandfather.
Talking to media, Adeeba’s grandfather Muhammad Safdar demanded the authorities concerned for strict action against the accused. The police registered a case and started the investigation.
