The Utility Stores Corporation has reduced the prices of more than 170 essential items, effective from September 28, according to a spokesperson. Prices have been cut by Rs 10 to Rs 190, with reductions on tea, spices, and other essential goods, following a trend of declining inflation.

The spokesperson also reminded that earlier price cuts were made on over 800 essential items. All citizens can shop at utility stores with no conditions or restrictions.
