4 persons die of Covid-19 in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi-As many as four people died of Coronavirus in Rawalpindi district on Wednesday, informed sources.
Similarly, 95 patients tested positive for coronavirus and 120 patients got discharged from the hospital after recovery during last 24 hours, they said.
According to sources, Naseer Agha, 76, a resident of Lane 4 Peshawar Road, was brought to Hearts International Hospital on April 27 and he died on Wednesday.
Noor Hussain, 76, a resident of Chaklala Scheme-III near Bilal Mosque, was brought to Hearts International Hospital on April 27 and he died on Wednesday.
Syed Amir Hussain Shah, 76, a resident of Jatli Gujar Khan, was brought to Kulsoom International Hospital on April 24 and he died on Wednesday.
Sikander Ali, 61, a resident of Airport Housing Scheme, was brought to Kulsoom International Hospital on April 24 and he died on Wednesday.
In Rawalpindi district, there are 1,694 active patients. As many as 185 patients are in the hospitals including 72 patients arriving from other districts and 1509 patients home isolated. As many as 707 patients are awaiting their results for Covid-19 serology. 
Total 95 patients were reported from the district – 75 patients from the garrison city including 21 patients from Cantonment, 34 patients arrived from Potohar Town and 20 from Rawal Town areas.   
From other parts of the district including six patients from Gujar Khan, three from Taxila, one from Kotli Sattian, three from Kahuta while one patient from Murree. And, five patients arrived from Islamabad and one from Attock.  
The new Covid-19 patients arrived in the city hospitals including 29 patients admitted in Holy Family Hospital, 26 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH), 104 in Rawalpindi institute of Urology (RIU), 25 patients in Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH) and one in Begum Akhter Rukhsana Hospital.   
There are 24 patients on ventilators in Rawalpindi, 110 on oxygen and 51 are stable. 
After increasing number of patients, health department recommended to impose smart lockdown in two areas where 58 patients were reported from Bahria Town while five patients from Gulistan Colony in last two days.
