IAP demands police station in Peshawar Industrial Estate

PESHAWAR   -   Industrialists have demanded establishment of a special police station in Peshawar Industrial Estate Hayatabad, increase in police strength, patrolling and improvement in security in order to provide a safe and secure environment to the people in the estate. 

The demand was made by Industrialists’ Association Peshawar (IAP) president Imran Ishaq while chairing a meeting along with SSP Operations Peshawar Yasir Afridi during his visit to in Industrial Estate Hayatabad, said a statement issued here on Saturday. 

On the occasion, the association president Imran Ishaq demand establishment of a separate police station in Hayatabad Industrial Estate and effective measures to improve patrolling of mobile van.

 and riders, eradication of drug addicts, provision of required equipment to DRC and PAL in the estate. 

Imran Ishaq praised unmatched sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police for maintaining law and order in the province. He assured the business community will fully cooperate with police to ensure law and order situation. 

Earlier, SSP Operation Yasir Afridi assured the businessmen that police department would take every possible step to provide them security. He agreed with proposals of the IAP president Imran Ishaq and assured to take up the demand of establishing a separate police station in Hayatabad Industrial Estate with CCPO. 

He also assured that security would be further improved in the industrial estate by ensuring round the clock patrolling of police vans and riders as well as effective initiatives would be taken to eradicate the menace of drugs. He also promised to provide required equipment to DRC and PAL of the industrial estate.
