IHC rejects plea pertaining to removal of Chairman CDA

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected a plea seeking removal of Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed on Thursday.

While announcing the verdict, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb imposed a fine of Rs50,000 on the plaintiff owing to wasting time of court.

The court revealed that a show cause notice had been issued by the CDA Chairman to the officer over misconduct, as a result of which, the officer challenged the appointment of the chairman by filing the case.

It has been directed by the IHC to cut the imposed fine by the court from plaintiff's salary.
