ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Thursday that his father, ex-President, Asif Ali Zardari was tested positive for Covid-19.
“President Zardari has tested positive for Covid. He is fully vaccinated, boosted, isolating with mild symptoms and undergoing treatment. We are praying for his swift recovery,” Bilawal tweeted.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended best wishes and prayers to former President Asif Ali Zardari for quick recovery from Covid-19. He expressed these wishes in a tweet today on Thursday. “My best wishes and prayers are with former President Asif Ali Zardari for quick recovery from Covid and complete health,” the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
