Engagement with Babrak was a great blunder: Veena

LAHORE - Engagement with actor Babrak Shah and friendship with cricketer Mohammad Asif was a great blunder of my life. This was stated by Lollywood top star Veena Malik while talking to TheNation on telephone on Monday. Veena said that now she has been engaged to Faisal Akbar, a US citizen with the consent of her parents. I am very happy over the engagement and I am going to start a very happy life with Faisal Akbar, Veena enthusiastically said. On a question whether she will leave the showbiz world after the marriage, she replied that showbiz had no links with her marriage. Showbiz is my profession, my passion. I will remain in showbiz whenever I will wish, she endorsed. Veena said that her fiance had no objection on my showbiz activities even after the marriage. Veena said that as far as her scandals were concerned, these scandals were no new thing in the showbiz world, I shall rather say that the scandals are the part of life in showbiz. Veena said she and Babrak Shah had worked in so many projects together and during this period they had become good friends. She said she and Babrak wanted to marry and their parents too had given their consent, therefore they had been engaged, but after the engagement, Babrak committed some sort of misdoings which she disliked, so she decided to disengage from Babrak. Same was the problem with cricketer Mohammad Asif. He also wanted to marry me but I refused to marry him due to his so many bad habits. Now I am very happy. Veena revealed that she had mimicked more that 40 country and international personalities in different TV programmes and was going to enrol her in the Guinness Book of world record.
