Drive against Railways corrupt officers lauded

LAHORE - Pakistan Railways Employees Union President Hafiz Salman Butt has appreciated the campaign against corrupt officers on the direction of Minister Saad Rafique. He said that arrest of former Divisional Superintendent Multan in a corruption case was a good achievement.
He demanded the SCJ to form a special tribunal for the corrupt mafia. Hafiz assured the minister that the PR workers would support his efforts against corruption in the Railways and said all those culprits should be brought in the courts who weakened PR by selling its expansive property on throw-away prices, used old and filthy oil in locomotives and appointed incompetent staff in the department.  He said the courts should take decisions against such corrupt officers without any pressure and they should be given maximum punishments so that no one could even think of damaging the Pakistan Railways.
