PCFA holds ceremony to mark founding day of China

PESHAWAR    -    “Pakistan and China are enjoy­ing time tested friendship as iron brothers,” said Mr Zhang Heqing Counselor for Cultural, Education, Sports and Friendship at the Em­bassy of the People Republic of Chi­na in Islamabad at a cake cutting ceremony organized by the Paki­stan-China Friendship Association (PCFA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

The ceremony was graced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural De­velopment (LG) Faisal Amin Gan­dapur, Minister for Irrigation Ar­shad Ayub, President PCFA Yousaf Ayub, Secretary General PCFA Ali Nawaz Gillani. 

On the occasion, Mr Zhang Heqing appreciated the friend­ly gesture of PCFA Khyber Pa­khtunkhwa. He mentioned that Sino-Pakistan Friendship will strengthen socio-economic devel­opment including CPEC. Mr Zhang mentioned that celebrating the 73rd Founding Day of China with Pakistan friends is heart-touching. 

The event was also attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary LG Zaheer-Ul-Islam, focal per­son to Chief Minister Khyber Pa­khtunkhwa Khaliq Khan, Director China MOFA Bilal Shah, Director CPEC Muneeb Ahmed from MOFA Government of Pakistan. 

Speaking on the occasion, Pro­vincial Minister for LG Faisal Amin Gandapur extended a greeting on behalf of the government say­ing that Chief Minister KP appre­ciates China’s help and support during the recent floods and asked for more people-to-people inter­action. He lauded China’s leader­ship for bringing the country out of poverty.
