ISLAMABAD - Farrukh Habib has taken oath as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Thursday.

President Dr. Arif Alvi administered the oath at a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad. On the other hand, Usman Dar has also been re-appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Youth Affairs, while Dr Waqar Masood has been appointed Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Finance and Revenue. The Cabinet Division has also issued the notifications in this regard.

Earlier, Waqar Masood was appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Revenue.

It is to be mentioned here that with these new inductions the total strength of the members in the federal cabinet has reached 50. The federal cabinet includes 27 ministers, four ministers of state, 15 special assistants and four special advisors to prime minister.
