FAISALABAD - On the directions of Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), Director General Dr Faisal Azim, eight members “Faisalabad Master Plan Committee” has been constituted to examine the proposed draft of Faisalabad Master Plan 2021-2041 and the proposals/suggestions, complaints, grievances and applications received from parliamentarians, members governing body and other stakeholders relating to the proposed Master Plan being prepared by a private consultant company under the supervision of Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA).
Director Town Planning I Asma Mohsin has been appointed as Focal Person/ Convener of the committee while Director Town planning II Mehr Ayub, Director Planning & Development Hasan Zaheer, Deputy Director Town planning II Raheel Zafar, Deputy Director Planning I Iqra Murtaza, Assistant Director Town Planning II Ahmad Ibrahim, Assistant Director Town Planning I Faran Siddique, Assistant Director (GIS) Muhammad Abdullah have been included in the committee as members.
According to the office order issued in this regard, the Faisalabad Master Plan Committee would perform all relevant tasks for fulfillment of all formalities under rules/ policy and government instructions till the finalisation, approval and promulgation of Faisalabad Master Plan besides examining the public proposals/suggestions, complaints and applications received in connection with the Faisalabad Master Plan.
Moreover, the committee would furnish its report duly signed by all members on the said issues to Director General FDA strictly under relevant rules/ policy/ government institutions before submission to consultant Osmani & Company Pvt Ltd for further consideration/ incorporate in Faisalabad Master Plan or rebut with sold justification/ reason/ logic.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held with the Director General FDA in the chair to review the proposed draft of master plan.
FDA Additional Director General Azim Malik, Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood ,Director Planning and Development Hasan Zaheer, Directors Town Planning Mehr Ayub, Asma Mohsin and other officers participated in the meeting.
The Director General for making the departmental measures result oriented to frame the master plan foolproof in all respect.
He emphasised upon examining the proposals/ suggestions and complaints of stakeholders minutely to achieve the real objectives of framing Faisalabad Master Plan for the multidimensional advanced development of Faisalabad in lines with the future requirements.
