Ex-MNA joins Mush

LAHORE – Former district nazim Sheikhupura and ex-MNA PML-N from NA-132, Mian Jalil Ahmed Sharaqpuri has announced joining the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) during a meeting with party founder, Pervez Musharraf in Dubai.
Sharaqpuri in a meeting with Musharraf reposing full confidence in his leadership being the founder of the district government system under which the former served as a district nazim announced his joining of the APML.
He was also elected as a member of National Assembly in 2002 elections from NA-132 (Sheikhupura-II) on PML-N ticket defeating, Mian Muhammad Azhar the then president of the PML-Q. He is also known figure in the religious circles. Jalil, born on March 6, 1962 in Sharaqpur Sharif graduated in 1984 from Government Islamia College Lahore and completed an M.A degree in Economics in 1988 from University of the Punjab. A businessman by profession, he is a patron of Sher-e-Rabbani Scouts Open Group and Sharaqpur Welfare Association and has been associated with Sher-e-Rabbani Welfare Society during 1990 and married with two sons and two daughters.
