KAMALIA -  The government considers farmers backbone of the country and is making all possible efforts to facilitate them. Kamalia Assistant Commissioner stated this Hafiz Najib during a meeting of Tehsil Agriculture Committee here the other day. He said steps are being taken to ensure crops procurement on officially-fixed rates. He added seminars are also being held to create awareness among farmers regarding better crop yield.

PEDDLER HELD WITH DRUGS

Police claimed to have arrested a notorious peddler with huge amount of drugs here the other day.

Kamalia Saddr police Station House Officer Qaisar Younus told the media the accused, identified as Israr Shah, was held in a special crackdown on drug-peddlers. Police recovered 3kg of Charas from his possession. On the occasion, the SHO vowed to continue the crackdown on drug-peddlers.
