Majeed Achakzai released from Quetta jail

QUETTA  - The Public Accounts Committee Chairman Abdul Majeed Khan Achakzai was released on Friday after the Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) accepted his bail application in traffic warden case. 

A large number of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) activists reached Quetta jail to welcome party leader upon his release and brought him to his residence in procession. 

The ATC Judge granted him bail on Thursday but he was set free on Friday. 

Talking to workers, the Balochistan Assembly lawmaker expressing condolence with the victim family of traffic police officer pledged to extend every possible support to the bereaved family. 

“I am grieved over the loss of victim family and will extend them every possible support,” Majeed Achakzai said. 

The lawmaker who is the Chairman of PAC determined that he would fight against corruption and corrupt lawmakers. 

He said that that he was still following zero tolerance policy against corruption and corrupt elements would be exposed.
