LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the political ‘hunters’ are using the shoulders of Dr Tahirul Qadri to target the next elections.
No matter how much action these ‘hunters’ show, Senate and the general elections will be held on time, he said.
Talking to mediamen here yesterday, he said that the political rivals of the PML-N are striving to create anarchy in Punjab for which they are going to make the PAT Chairman instrument and are using his shoulders to fire the shots.
He said that these ‘hunters’ want to do politics on the Model Town incident by creating anarchy and unrest in the province.
He said that these politicians will only like to see Dr Qadri on the container and themselves take part in the elections gaining ground through PAT.
He said to a question that over the last three years, Dr Tahirul Qadri had been demanding release of the Model Town inquiry report which the government has done and what new has emerged through the report that everyone is using it to target the govt.
To a question on the statement of Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq on the Army chain of command, the Law Minister said that Army is a highly respectable institution and Khawaja Saad Rafiq was not against this institution of Army.
To a question on PML-N President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah said that despite disqualification popularity graph of Nawaz Sharif is undiminished.
Nawaz Sharif, he said, is not only the popular leader in the country but also in the Muslim world.
He said that Nawaz Sharif cannot be ousted from politics.
