Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Tahir-ul-Qadri ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their 'undemocratic past'.
While addressing at All Parties Conference (APC) over Model Town issue, Qadri said that Nawaz Sharif introduced horse trading and bribe in politics.
"He bribed politicians during Zia regime and has been doing it since then," he asserted.
The PAT Chairman said that Model Town Massacre and 'Mujhay Kyu Nikala' is the agenda of this APC. "The Sharifs have a checkered past as Nawaz had several issue with former Army Chiefs and state institutes," he said.
Qadri further reiterated that till resignation of Shehbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah, PAT will continue its protest and it can turn into a sit-in.
"The blood of Model Town martyrs humiliated Sharifs publicly," he said.
He further said that over 40 parties are standing with him in this demand. "They all have gathered for support of army, judiciary and state institutions," he stated.
The All Parties Conference over Model Town issue started today. Delegations of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pak Sar Zameen Party (PSP), Mutahhida Qoumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) and other political parties are attending the conference.
Qamar Zaman Kaira, Latif Khosa, Rehman Malik and Manzoor Watto are representing PPP. While Jahangir Tareen, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Aleem Khan are participating on behalf of PTI.
