Govt to bring reforms in judicial system: Talal Chaudhry

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that the government will bring reforms in judicial system for ensuring provision of speedy justice to the people, reported Radio Pakistan.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Senate and general elections will be held in time and those trying to create hurdles in this way would not succeed in their objectives.

The state minister said despite reservations, the PML-N had implemented the court's decision but raising objection on the verdict was our constitutional right.

He said PML-N had learned from its past mistakes and apologized to the nation, but Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) was still living in the era of 1990s.

Replying to a question, he said Senate andNational Assembly elections would be held in time as per constitution and those trying to create hurdles in this way would not succeed in their objectives.

He said those parties which were planning to give resignations from national or provincial assemblies would commit political suicide. PPP had played a negative role in Balochistan for changing the chief minister of PML-N and was ready for horse trading in the upcoming Senate elections, he added.
