PTI fails to meet expectations of masses: Siraj

LAHORE - Terming distribution of millions of rupees to the PTI lawmakers in the name of development fund before the Senate election a political bribe and a corrupt practice, Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul Haq has reminded the Prime Minister of his own criticism against the traditions adopted in the tenures of former governments. “The Prime Minister was very vocal against the practice and now he followed the same,” he said while talking to journalists at Mansoora on Friday.  Siraj said the PM had no comparison when it came to the matter of U-Turns. The development projects should be done through Local Governments and the way which had been adopted in Pakistan was neither a democratic nor moral and legal, he added.  He regretted the PTI failed to meet the expectations of the masses. He said that corruption, unemployment and inflation had become trademarks of the PTI government, making the country a laughing stock in entire world and adding to the miseries of the masses with every day passing.  He said the country needed an honest and bold leadership which could bring it out of the prevailing crises.
