Rameez Jr wants to make mark

MUMBAI - Rameez Raja Junior, the new inductee in the Pakistan team for the tour of Zimbabwe had not seen the enough of senior Rameez Raja playing and captaining the national team but he wants to make his own identity in the game. The call to the right handed batsman and the right-arm off break bowler came just three days prior to his 24th birthday. "Yes, it is a precious birthday gift and I shall try to grab this opportunity with both hands. I came to know about this news from TV channel and my close friends conveyed immediately to me after the selection. No special celebration is planned for Sunday when I shall be busy playing a club match here", he further added. My mother could not stop tears in her eyes with this pleasant news", the only son, with married sister, further added. "It is always pride to play for the nation". Among his present team members, Rameez Raja is very close to Asad Shafique. He also loves to see Mohammad Youfuf batting. World's highest run getter, Sachin Tendulkar is his favourite player, however, Muthiah Muralidharan, the highest wicket taker is not on his favourite list. "Saqlain Mushtaq is my favourite off-spinner and I want to learn more about the art of bowling from him", he concluded.
