ISLAMABAD (APP) - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday reiterated the firm resolve of the government that it remained committed to providing better environment for promoting vibrant media in the country. Addressing the meeting of Executive Committee of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), she said the government is committed to playing the role of a facilitator for media. She said the government was trying to resolve the issues confronting the media to enable it to perform responsibilities in a better way. The Information Minister assured APNS that their problems would be resolved on priority basis.
