OUR STAFF REPORTER KARACHI - Young Kainat Imtiaz, Asian Games gold medallist, struck 46 runs as her team JS Green won its inaugural match of the four team JS Bank women's Twenty20 Cricket defeating JS Blues by three wickets here on Wednesday at Moin Khan Cricket Academy Ground. She hit four fours in her 52 balls innings that enabled JS Green post 106 for seven wickets with three balls sparing in the allotted 20 overs in reply to losers 104 for four in 20 overs. Kainat Imtiaz, 19-year-old and a student of the PECH College, was declared player of the closely contested match. In another match of the competition which is being sponsored by JS Bank, JS Red outplayed JS Orange by six wickets reaching the winning total in the third ball of the 12th over. JS Red scored 53 for six in 11.2 overs in reply to JS Orange's total of 52 in 14.1 overs. Medium pacer Kanwal Yousuf grabbed three for 15 and Reema had three wickets for 14 runs. Both the bowlers were jointly declared players of the match.
