ISLAMABAD - Though only one day is left in devolution of ministry of food and agriculture, certain quarters still believe that decision should be reverted as it would create mess and the projects signed by the ministry with other countries might suffer. The said quarters believe that Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Founder of Pakistan, established this ministry, as he knew its importance very well. The decision to transfer Ministry of Food and Agriculture to the provinces should be reversed as its devolution could have serious repercussions for the food security issue in the country. Businessmen have also shown concerns over the issue, saying what the future policies will be if the ministry is dissolved in any case.
