MIRANSHAH- Ground Operation has been launched in Miranshah  North Waziristan early today morning after the evacuation of civil population from the area in which 15 terrorists have been killed.
According to ISPR, Ground operation commenced in and around Miranshah and House to House search of Miranshah town is being carried out by infantry troops and special service group. 15 terrorists have been killed in ground offensive so far. Troops have recovered underground tunnels and IEDs preparation factories inside the, so far, cleared area. 3 soldiers have been injured in exchange of fire. Meanwhile integrated fire of Artillery, Tanks and other heavy weapons are being carried out on terrorists’ concentrations in Mirali and other areas. Cordon is in place at other areas housing terrorists since start of operation Zarbe Azb on June 30, 2014 376 terrorists have been killed while 19 have surrendered to the security forces. 61 terrorists Hideouts have been destroyed in the operation during last 15 days. 17 Soldiers have embraced shahadat since start of operation Zarbe Azb.
