Bilawal plans week-long visit to Washington

ISLAMABAD - Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would leave for a week-long visit to US capital Washington tentatively on July 6, it has been learnt. This would be the second visit of Bilawal to the US capital this year, where he is scheduled to meet top US lawmakers and deliver lectures at think-tanks besides attending an international conference. During meetings with the Congressmen, the Chairman PPP would apprise them of the prevailing political situation in the country and regional security situation. A top PPP source said despite the PPP election campaign in AJK, Chairman Bilawal has certain pressing engagements in Washington, which after concluding would return to Islamabad and then would spend the last days of the election campaign in AJK. Bilawal would also meet party workers and expected to meet Pakistani and US media during his visit.
