Bhandara joins PML-N

LAHORE - An eminent industrialist and leader of the Parsi community in the country, Isphanyar Bhandara, Tuesday announced to join PML-N following a meeting with the party President Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind. Nawaz Sharif welcomed joining of Bhandara while highlighting services of Bhandara family for giving a boost to the national economy as well as to politics and arts. He said the Bhandara family invested in a very dismal economical situation in the country when others were prone to shifting their capital outside. He said the decision of Bhandara was a clear proof of his confidence in the PML-N and the future of Pakistan. It may be mentioned that Isphayar Bhandara is the son of M P Bhandara, a two-time member of the National Assembly and the former federal minister. During the meeting Isphanyar Bhandara reposed a complete confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and said the PML-N under his patronage is on the way to translate Pakistan into the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal who visualized it as a country wherein everyone enjoys equal rights and opportunities without any discrimination. He said the past two tenures of Nawaz Sharif were evident of his leadership traits and on that basis, he is sure to steer the country out of the current grave crises particularly on the side of economy and trade. Meanwhile, Capt (r) Haleem Siddique met with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind Tuesday and discussed with him current political situation and other matters. Haleem Siddique was a staunch supporter and confidant of Nawaz Sharif till Musharraf coup of October 1999.
