NAROWAL - Four unidentified dacoits looted the clinic and house of a specialist doctor here in the broad daylight.
Reportedly four unidentified gunmen entered the private clinic of Medical Specialist Dr Muhammad Idrees situated on Hospital Road here at about 3:00pm. They collected cash, cellphones and gold ornaments of worth hundreds of thousand rupees from the patients present in the clinic.
Later, they went into the residence of the doctor at the upper storey and made off with 10 tola gold ornaments, cellphones and Rs500,000. The dacoits also maltreated and tortured the doctor and his family members on offering resistance.
Meanwhile, PMA District President Dr Khalil Akhter Ch demanded immediate arrest of the dacoits. He also demanded security and safety to the medical staff working in the district.
