Lahorites left at the mercy of dacoits

LAHORE – Robbers continued looting spree in the City on Tuesday, looted families, robbed houses and took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth millions rupees from different parts of the provincial metropolis. Police sources revealed that two gunmen held up a traffic warden at gunpoint at MM Alam Road and snatched away his mobile phone. Robbers barged into the house of Muhammad Abid in Kahna police precincts and snatched away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth lakhs of rupees after holding the inmates hostage at gunpoint. Two gunmen held up a couple in Township police area and deprived them of their belongings including cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 250,000. Two gunmen forced their entry into a mobile phone shop in Liaqatabad police area and fled away after collecting cash and valuables.
