CHANGA MANGA - Eve-teasers made an attempt on the life of father of the principal of a local college and his son for prohibiting them from ogling and standing in front of the girls college here on Tuesday.
As per detail, local youths including Sadiq, Amir, Abdullah, Saabi etc used to tease girl students on way to college. Hazara Public School and College Principal Waqas A Khan admonished and prohibited them from the malpractice time and again but they did not shun the practice. Meanwhile, the principal again warned them, but the 'culprits' instead of mending ways, attacked father of the principal Manzoor Khan and his lawyer son Ghiayas Khan with knives, rods and firearms. Resultantly both the father and son sustained critical wounds and were rushed to General Hospital Lahore. The Changa Manga Police have registered a case against the accused.  Meanwhile, notables of the area have demanded the DPO to order the police concerned to arrest the accused immediately.
SB takes out Istehkam-e-Pakistan rally: Shabab Milli (SB) took out Istehkam-e-Pakistan rally here which later on turned into a protest against the price hike, corruption and worst electricity loadshedding. The rally led by Rana Maroof, Abdul Razzaq Khalil, Advocate Sadder Toor and Shabab-e-Milli Qaboola President Advocate Ali Raza. The participants of the rally, who were carrying banners and placards, marched through main roads and bazaars. They were chanting slogans against the government and termed it the most corrupt regime of the country's history.
