Accused plea for reframing charges rejected

RAWALPINDI - The Anti-Terrorism Court, Rawalpindi, Number 1, Tuesday rejected pleas for reframing charges of two accused in former premier Benazir Bhutto assassination case. The court also handed over copies of the charge sheets and directed the prosecution to produce the witnesses for recording their statements on December 3, 2011. ATC No 1 judge Shahid Raffique dismissed the applications of Sher Zaman and Abdul Rahseed, both accused in BB murder case, for reframing the charges against them, and adjourned the hearing till December 3, 2011. He directed the prosecution to produce its witnesses before the court on the next hearing. The seven accused including former CPO Syed Saud Aziz, former SP Rawal Town Khurram Shehzad, Abdul Raheed, Sher Zaman, Aitzaz Shah, Rafaqat and Hassnain Gull were also present in the courtroom.
