At least two persons were killed and two others including a security official were injured in landmine blast here in Ghallanai on early Friday morning.
According to details, unknown miscreants had planted landmine in Saafi Tehsil of Mohmand agency which exploded with loud bang triggering panic in the area.
As a result of blast two persons were killed on the spot while two others including a child a security personnel sustained wounds. The injured were shifted to Agency headquarters hospital for treatment.
The political administration said that the landmine was aimed at targeting security personnel convoy which was due to pass by the scene but civilians became victim.
