Resumption of polio drive

With the help of zealous Army personnel, anti- polio drive has been resumed in Waziristan, after 30 months of suspension in the wake of threats from Terrorists. The uncertain situation in the area made 78,000 children miss their due polio vaccination in these months. Now Government’s decision to provide security of Armed Forces has been arranged for 120 mobile teams which will work to eradicate polio from the area entirely and permanently. It is hoped that polio will be eradicating permanently with the help of army, shielding the workers from deadly attacks.
