Have battled mafias, not politicians: Imran

| Says NAB, FBR most corrupt institutions | Debt on every Pakistani went up from Rs35,000 in 2008 to Rs1,35,000 in 2017

Mandi Bahauddin -  Lashing out at the PPP and PML-N leadership, PTI Chiarman Imran Khan yesterday termed Sharifs and Zardaris two mafias who had been looting the nation for the last 30 years.

"No enemy can harm the country more as these mafias has done."

Addressing a big public gathering at Cinema Ground in Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said in 2008 every citizen was under debt of Rs35,000 and now every individual is under debt of 1,35,000 rupees. Heavy debt has brought poverty and inflation in the country. He said Zardari, with looted wealth, had purchased castles in Dubai, London, France and the US. Similarly, Nawaz Sharif laundered money to foreign lands and made property in the names of his children.

He demanded that JIT investigation report be made public to show misdeeds of Zardari and Sharifs. He said police killed people on orders of Sharifs and Uzair Baloch killed people on the order of Zardari. Uzair Baloch forcibly occupied 14 sugar mills in Sindh and surrounding houses of Bilawal House in Karachi. He said for the last 21 years he had been fighting against mafias and not politicians as according to him his opponents Zardari and Sharifs were mafias. He said government was spending Rs7 billion on security of Sharif’s Raiwind residence and Rs70 crore were spent on construction of Raiwind boundry wall which was all public money.

“There is corruption of Rs4000 billion annually and Rs1000 billion are transferred abroad through money laundering.

“Our institutions like NAB and FBR are the most corrupt,” he said. “Poverty is increasing day by day. Government makes policies which benefit the elite class. That is why our economy is sinking,” the PTI chairman was of the view.

He said nations which do not frame policies for changing lot of the poor and weak segments of society go to dogs. Imran said he would build a Medina-like model state that would formulate policies for the poor and downtrodden. The PTI chairman said he would collect money to the tune of Rs8000 billion through taxes and spend that on uplift of the poor. He said he would provide fertilizers and pesticides to farmers on cheaper rates for making their farming profitable. He said at present farmers were at losing end due to expensive input. The PTI government would provide jobs to youth and the one who would be unemployed would be paid stipend on monthly basis till he gets job.

He said present rulers did not need support of the poor, they actually needed support of Achakzai, Fazlur Rehman and Asfandyar Wali Khan. He urged people to get ready for elections. He said he would make a new Pakistan with the power of masses’ votes, a true state on the line of Medina state that worked for the weak segments of the society and enforce justice in true spirit.

Agencies add: Imran said Uzair Baloch exposed PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari and his family.

In a twitter message, he said PTI was not doing politics but doing Jihad against corrupt people who had occupied Pakistan.

“Uzair Baloch unveiled the mega corruption committed by Asif Ali Zardari and his other family members who looted the public money,” he concluded.
