Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar on Tuesday has said that the health facilities in Sindh are better than KP.
The CJP remarked this while hearing a case regarding waste of hospitals of KP
A three-member bench of SC, presided over by CJP took up the case for hearing.
During the course of the hearing, Minister Health KP Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan also appeared before the court.
CJP remarked, “waste of government hospitals is 4,137 kg while the waste of private hospitals is 6,000 kg daily.” Waste of hospital is becoming a reason of diseases, CJP observed.
KP government devised what plan for disposing of this waste material as more diseases have erupted from this waste. Chief Justice questioned?
He further observed, “health system of KP is poorer than Sindh.”
Provincial minister for health said that machinery for disposing of waste is being purchased while 3,933 kg waste is being disposed of daily.
CJP while seeking affidavits of secretary health and minister of health with all information including a plan to dispose of the waste of hospitals within 10 days.
Later the hearing of the case adjourned for 10 days.
