LAHORE   -   La­hore police, to create a sense of security among citizens, con­ducted a flag march in differ­ent areas of the city. Senior of­ficers of Lahore police including SSPs, SPs and SDPOs led the flag march. Contingents of Rang­ers, Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, traffic police, Anti-Riot Force, Police Response Unit and Aba­beel Force were part of the flag march. The police march went through different roads and ar­eas of the city including Mall Road, Jail Road, Bhatta Chowk, Lahore Ring Road, Karol Ghatti, Bund Road, Babu Sabu Chowk, Thokar Niaz Baig and other ar­eas of the city. CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that La­hore police were alert round the clock and ready for the protec­tion of life and property of citi­zens. “The purpose of the flag march and other security ar­rangements is to create sense of security among the citizens which is our prime duty,” he added. Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that Lahore police would not compromise on the safety and security of citizens at all and will not let anyone disturb the peace of the city at any cost.
