ISLAMABAD - Inspector General of Police (IGP) Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman on Wednesday has directed the senior police officers to hold orderly rooms once in a week to solve the issues being faced by the low-ranking policemen on priority basis. “It is not only my prime duty but also that of the other police officers including DIGs, SSPs and SPs to perform duties with honesty and dedication and listen to the problems of the cops,” he said. He added the common issues of the cops are transfer, posting, welfare, domestic and other official matters that needed to be resolved on merit. “The morale of the cops will not only be high but they will also perform duties with commitment and dedication after solving their genuine issues in orderly rooms,” said Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman.
