LAHORE    -   On the special instructions of Provincial Educa­tion Minister Murad Ras, a record was set by planting 10,000 saplings in one minute in 43 schools of Lahore district here on Thursday. On this occasion, the Minister of School Education Murad Ras said that the purpose of plantation is to spread awareness about environmental changes. Today, the whole world is suffering from environ­mental problems due to global warming, he said. He said that the cultivation of 10,000 plants in a minute is a great initiative. And the credit of this event goes to CEO Education Lahore and his team, he added. Murad Ras said that the children will take care of their planted plants along with getting edu­cation. Cultivation of 10,000 plants in one minute is no less than a miracle. Provincial Minister School Education Murad Ras planted a plant in Govern­ment Pilot Higher Secondary School, Wahdat Road, Lahore.
